His Problem is - He Just Never Grew - -

The Utilitarian in my marvels at certain stories I see on TV.  Like when they talk about all the time per year that's just wasted in Freeway commutes- - like thirty minutes turns into ninety minutes or longer in various Washington DC commutes.  Just think of all the business hours wasted- - for all the gasoline being consumer just in an idling engine sitting in traffic that is not moving.  Obviously we need some sort of more efficient transport like a monorail to move that volume of people more quickly rather than just have one person trapped in a heavy steel cacoon for hours on end.  But Judy believes that federal aid to railroads is some "conspiracy" to manipulate our travel and living habits.  Of course if you say there is no more Saturday mail; Judy would say "Well this just proves my basic point that Government is Broken.  Government Doesn't Work".  Of course you can still go to the PO box and collect your mail on a Saturday because all the mailman has to do is fill each of the centrally located boxes without all that traveling around from house to house.  Still if something is more efficient- - you'll hear cries of "socialism" or "that sounds like Communist China or something".  Just think of all of the hours wasted in the agrigate just sitting and waiting for breakfast to be delivered around here, which has gotten so slow.  Even if Green Harbor hadn't closed down in August of 2005 I might well have quit going because Computer Programming was a more productive use of my time than the intermidable waiting periods they have there.  Sometimes it's more efficient for a small nation to just hire out a private Army - - or secure an agreement with a Foreign Power to provide your Defenses - - rather than burden your tax payers with your own program.  After all you don't want to take over the World like that other nation over there- - - uh - - the United States of America.  No.  You just want to live securely within your borders.  You want to own a gun for your own protection.  But you aren't planning on reenacting the plot of the movie "Red Dawn" with your weapon.  Some say that gay marriage is an abomonitation because there are never any Children produced by that Union.  I guess in this age of Over Population - - is that really a bad thing?  Why shouldn't the Military branches offer some sort of meditation or yoga or whatever - - to keep their troops mentally calm and collected and fixed on their mission?  People who are inherently "anti efficiency" will say "You shouldn't use an Eastern Religion to make them more efficient killing machines".  Others will say "Eastern religions has no place at all in our Christian military.  Religion isn't something you USE to live your OWN better life. Everybody knows religions purpose is the serve God or the Pope or whoever is in charge!"

There are times when I invision my blogs being more like George Washington’s blog.  But the thing is there is a derth of hard news- - and Washington’s loves to drown you in a minutia of details- - which often is not the point I wish to convey.  There has been news on the radio and let’s just hit these stories right now.  There is some new report saying that Drone flights are OK and ethically not a problem.  It seems that we have accepted the fact that the CIA can “take out” anybody they so desire, but that person isn’t eliminated from consideration merely be being an American Citizen.  That’s apparently no defense in War Time, and of course “we are always at war”.  The Obama administration is increasingly using Arguments put forth by the far right about how “Wars aren’t like they used to be and there are no “legitimate’ nations any more but merely Rebels that need to be eliminated, without benefit of court trial, even if they are Americans.  It is pointed out that Drones are a more efficient and arguably humane way to conduct a War than enlisting and engaging all these “boots on the ground” many of which return with PTSD or what have you.  Then they go into a Texas shooting gallery and shot a Navy Seal at point blank range, killing him and then cop a plea.  Of course hopefully ALL veterans won’t be tainted with the stigma of PTSD as “ruint’ individuals and therefore you shouldn’t hire them.  A lot of veterans return from the service just fine.  But back to what I was saying - - “modern warfare from now on will consist of things like drone attacks - - where there is no danger of lives being lost due to the enemy firing back”.  What troubles me are two things.  First of all there is collateral damage where innocent civilians are killed, all as part of some vendetta.  The next is this slippery slope line of reasoning.  We say that US citizens are denied habious corpus and a trial “Because of the mere seriousness of the charge” kind of like Mc Carthyism.  But how is that different from King Henry VIII issuing some edict against a certain kind of Herecy or something- - and “because of the seriousness of the charge- - the individual merits instant Death without the usual niceties of English common law as they existed back then.   But many admire President Obama for using drones because he is “being smarter’ now and “getting things done efficiently” and he “has gotten his mojo back”.  What struck me is that the more success this President has with Drones, the more likely he will come under attack from the Tea Party right- - BECAUSE of the mere fact that this Black President has success in foreign policy.  Sometimes people don’t want you to do something because they fear it actually WILL work.  I told you about a method I had of discussing family disputes in the fall of 1968 that maybe I got from Dr. Cotter my psychiatrist.  We tried it exactly once- - and it was quite successful.  The mere success of it insured it would never be used again.  We are talking about the deficet and the national debt.  To get the deficet under control we'll have to follow through on defense cuts so they "do their part" along with all the others including the poor.  Even though we don't NEED to spend the money on defence we have been - - the mere Prospect of Success of deficet reduction makes the Tea party want to remain true to their pledge to "make Obama a one term President, even though that ship has already Sailed.  That's how desperate the right wing is.  They are still fighting the last election the same way southerners are still fighting the Civil War.  Some have gone so far as to suggest that straight people are Against- - - gay marriage BECAUSE they darkly suspect that these marriages will be MORE successful than heterosexual marriages in terms of divorce rate.  I have heard strong evidence to the contrary from people like Dennis Prager, who says - - - wait a minute.  Am I listening to myself?  Dennis Preger.  I’m listening to anything HE says???   Personally I don’t have a problem with either multiple punctuations or all raised capitals.  But it seems to set some people off. 

Now they are saying that alcohol like vodka mixed with diet sodas, will get you drunker than the same amount of vodka mixed with sugar.  So we have an identical amount of alcohol and an identical amount of liquid, and the only variable is the presence or absence of sugar.  I guess I have my doubts diet drinks will get you drunker.  By the mere reason that if it were true they would have discovered that a long time ago like forty years ago.  There was something in the news about how one in seven individuals are “borderline sociopaths” because they are unable to relate to anybody else’s feelings besides their own.  I know what Judy would say to this.  She would say “Of course the government is inventing new mental illness to taint the people with because this is the governments way of controlling the population and weeding out people who may have “discovered the truth about how the government is conspiring against us”.  As a liberal I’m always growing and learning.  But I see people like Dr. Levy.  They’re kind of one trick ponies.  They come up with all this pie in the sky rhetoric about whatever.  And it’s like the next time you see them (with weeks off or whatever) it’s like the previous week’s conversation never took place and they are saying the same whole thing over again- - like a Christian evangelical sermon or something.  These people “don’t grow”.  I guess I find people who don’t grow a discouragement.   But I guess you don’t have fears of speaking before the public even if you don’t know what you’re talking about- - just as long as your audience never discovers that fact.  On the subject of economics- - there is this “comparative crap” just like they used to do with “comparative religions’ like Justin Martyr comparing Greek thought to ancient Judaism.  The whole line of dialog is cherry picking reality to the max with bogus examples.  But think about it.  I can lecture a crowd on why the automobile is a better and more efficient mode of transportation than the horse.  So, uh, like, what else is new?  But the question is if I have something mechanically wrong with my car am I going to Dr. Levy’s to fix it and under cut all the repair shop estamates I’ve gotten?  Hell no.  It’s like economics.  Maybe if you race cars or live and breathe cars- - you may not have a degree in organic chemistry or torque physics with all the math formulas broken down nice and neat - or metalergy molecular structure.  But you know cars, that’s for sure.  How to race them and how to soup them up to run better.  There is this little thing called “Experience” that Dr. Levy (or Mitt Romney for that matter) has never had as a businessman, making a product.  Besides to extend the analogy further- - just because I believe the automobile is better than a horse- - I’m not going on a campaign to shoot horses- or anything I vaguely believe is a horse by another disguise.

Some people are just brighter bulbs than others.  Some can see things at the drop of a hat that others take a long time to figure out - if they ever do.  For instance if I have a prisom 3D shape and I cut it right in half - - are both halves equal to each other in Volume?  I see it.  Let me add just a little "challenge' to our example for all of the "mentally challenged".  Suppose you make the slice diagonally from the upper left apex of the prisom to the line at the lower right of the base of the prisom.  This would divide the prisom not into to two prisoms but two tetra-hedens.  Some tea party people might say "That's not equal because you're taking away a lot more from the top than you are the base".  Yeah, for one of the halves, but not the Other one!  Because all of the specific dimensions are mirrored and congruant- and therefore the whole of it is.  Or take the example of me as a fifth grader and I'd cut accross this field as a short cut.  And I knew I could maximize my savings if I cut a 45 degree line right accross the middle, and I knew that the Ammount of savings would be the mid point of that diagonal line measured back to the apex of the street corner.  But I couldn't Prove it for a long time - - till I learned trigonometry and knew the savings was a .707 figure or that I only traveled 70.7% the distance.  But a lot of people not only refuse to believe in things they can't see (which is usually wise) so they won't believe Another's assertion till in their own Minds i't personally prooved to Them.  I told you that Ether space- - has no viscosity, and for you auto buffs you know that viscosity is an important motor oil measurement.  Viscosity is "resistance to movement through it".   In the world most of us know ether has no viscosity.  But then again in the world we live in - - we don't think of energy as posessing substance or mass.  Not all matter contains energy but all energy contains mass.  Something like a photon (called a lepton by some as a class of particles) they say lacks all mass "at rest", which strikes me as a strangely pre Newtonian term.  So only when a photon or electron is - "Moving" (presumably from a "fixed" point) is it said to have energy - - and hence mass.  So pure matter when it interracts with Ether has no viscosity.  But the Ether - - -  DOES exhibit viscosity with Energy.  Capish?  As far as I know - - light exists on both sides of the ether void.  However we only have space as we know it - - and hence distance - - hence speed - - hence energy - hence viscosity of ether - - on This side of the Void.  (I call ether the Void here but the term is more poetic than anything else)  Because over there Events rather than Space is the "coin of the realm".  And events break down into three classes with a clear methematical relation between them.  We have opportunities for events- - that may not even happen.  We have Attempts at events when permitted.(or more properly - when the subject is confident)  And we have the actual occurance of the Events.  themselves.  Some of you are asking yourselves - - -  does "attempting' something have some sort of physical manifestation in Some world?  Have you ever thought what a space alien or better yet a really smart computer - or perhaps programmed android - - would make of some seemingly "invisable force" causing these Things or entities to "Move" themselves?  How to you Make these- - Things we called Living- - - locomote themselves?  And this android would then say "There has to be some Force within them that is Controling them - - and Making them locomote.  Remember when we talked about "quarks" that "mirrored" each other?  Others may say "It's some sort of optical reflection or illusion in our observatio in the lab.  Maybe.  Maybe not.  Some say positrons don't exist.  Maybe they are a measurement illusion and they really don't "mirror" electrons in movement in an oposite way caused by a common force.  Here is what I am driving at.  We don't know what controls the actions of the Living or some would say Sensient.  What if you could reduce what controls what we for lack of a better word call the Will or Intent - - and reduce that to a force?  "Why that would be positively de-humanizing".  Perhaps.  So what do you See in that world.  You see events and you see opportunities - - as "physical things" and you even can see other's Intent- - just like those brain scans they've been experimenting with where the chemistry of the brain alters once it's made a decision to exicute an action.  Capish?  Remember in the Bible I spoke of the line that goes "I gave you Space to repent".  So just what is Space?  Space as a metaphor can be valuable.  You may be fermiliar with those slide red and white numbered squares that go up to sixteen and you set about to arrange them in order, or a checkboard pattern or what have you.  Have you ever tried it with just Nine?  It's one hell of a lot harder to work - - isn't it?  You just find yourself continually "outsmarted by circumstance" and have no opportunity to maneuver.  It's this "opportunity to maneuver" that constitutes the Space alluded to in this Bible line- - more in fact than even Time itself.  A chess game is not Timed.  You have all the Time - - you need to make your next move.  What you need is Something Else.  You need the space to logistically plan things out.  The more space you control the more freedom you have.  In a traditional tarrot card spread they do the ten card spread with what is to your left and to your right, and in front of you and above and below you and all that.  What "crosses" you.  Even what is behind you can be relevent if indeed Retreat is "your next move".  Capish?  When you do all of this- - the fact that ether is heavier than you are is of no concern.  Because since there is no space as you know it there is no motion of energy - - and hence no viscosity to worry about.  The thing is- - the potential Event that doesn't happen - - IS your "space".  It's blank- - or as they say in electronic lingo - - Open - - or as they say in computer lingo - - cleared - -  and not Set or Closed.  OK folks, I'm missing Randi Rhodes now so I'll quit.

Our Not-so-bad Economic Situation

At its very worst the National Debt was 77% of the anual Gross Domestic Product.  But by now it has fallen noticably and will continue to drop way down as the deficet, how shrinking, begins doing so at an increasingly rapid rate.  This will be the first deficet below a Trillion in five years.  As the economy improves over the next four years the increased revenue with added budget restrictions will decimate the deficet.  However due to these stringent economic measures- - unemployment is destined to remain above seven percent for all of 2013 and growth this year will continue little better than last years.  However by 2014 the growth rate of the economy is expected to be a three and a half percent.  They say the economy has been opporating at five percent below its "potential". From everything I personally know, the figure is more like fifteen percent.  However the rate of gross domestic product lost over the ten year period of 2007 to 2013 is enormous.  We have never seen a period of continued economic malaise in the past seventy years.  On C-Span right now I have more of this report cued up.  It goes on for over an hour and I'll take in as much as I can till I get water-logged.  There isn't the slightest indication of any impending "crisis" in April of this year, or any other time.  All we really need to do is to not get into any new wars and don't give the Wall Street bankers another three trillion and we'll do allright.  I imagine the slow but persistent improvement in economic news will be of ongoing distress to the tea party crowd.  We have laws in place now to prevent the very things that triggered the 2008 financial crisis, and no more bail outs for Wall Street will happen.  It's been my contention that the possability of Good News on the economy has been ignored by the media - or it was in the campaign year of 2012.  People are inventive.  People are resourceful.  People to make do with what they have and learn to be more efficient spenders.  To some degree "the new normal" hasn't been entirely a bad thing.  The only reason why phrases like "the new normal" scare Mitt Romney is that he doesn't want for second to have to ponder what he, personally might do, to benefit his Country.  (Selah) 

Bruce Davis has been approved for parole and the only thing standing in his way is Jerry Brown signing off on it.  Obviously this Manson Family killer is a dreaded force.  Bruce Davis was known as Cisco Budge in the movie and he was the one along with Manson responsible for the deaths of musician Gary Hinman and Donald Shorty Shea.  They tortured Hinman and apparently Manson held a gun on him while Bruce Davis sliced off his ear before killing him outright.  This occurred in July of 1969 several weeks before the Tate-LaBianca killings. In other troubling news-  it seems the reason why ARCO has the lowest gasoline prices in town is because they removed the leak detectors from their oil storage tanks.  So they never have to worry about the problem till they get sued in a class action law suit of people suffering from a polluted ground and water table and maybe their babies being born with three eyes or something.  Like British Petroleum, this sort of shit is “just another cost of doing business”.  Randy Rhodes was talking about what a money making racket the private prison system is.  Because they don’t want immigration laws “fixed” because it would cut way down on arrests and imprisonments and also they don’t want the drug laws changed because that would cut down on the prison population.   It seems as if we in this country today have lost our moral compass entirely.  There is no such thing anymore of either bribery or inherent conflict of interest.  I don’t know why the Obama administration doesn’t just “grow a pair” and get a little back bone for once and prosecute these jerk-offs.  What I continue to be puzzled by is all of these Gulf tourist commercials that British Petroleum is running.  Are they running these as part of a settlement with the government as a condition for not going to jail - - kind of like picking up trash along the highway?  Or are they somehow hoping to profit from these ads by making us all think now what a wonderful, ecological conscious oil company they have become.  David Cruise said the sort of deep water drilling they were doing was unproven technology - and it's kind of like driving a car at high speeds knowing the break cables have been cut but somehow hoping against hope you'll never have to apply the brakes.

This is three thirty and the phone company, AT&T called me just before the soap opera ended and I think I was scammed by them into paying six more dollars for my phone bill next month.  They told me they would “cut all of my expenses in half” and that I was a “special, customer who qualified for their program”.  However I’m paying nothing for long distance now and the phone company has been losing a lot of money on me for that.  It was kind of a long verification process with me and I wasn’t done till several minutes after two.  Of course if they persist in raising my bill I'll retaliate by canceling my internet service with A T & Y and going with Time-Warner, which everyone tells me has an excellent plan for $19.95 or about twenty dollars less than I'm paying now.  Dr. Levy asked me months ago why in the world I'm paying so much.

I was going to do more in terms of "the world on the other side" of the Ether.  But you know something?  We've already said enough.  You just need time to digest the material you already have.  Let me just say this once again.  The human brain makes sense out of the strangest things, and there is no reason why it couldn't accomplish the Same Thing (la mismo, in Romulan) And often there are ways of depicting things through charts and graphs that would be difficult to explain any other way.  But people need to know graph lingo - - a term known as projection.  How any idea is Projected - - is everything.  And just in case you are wondering - - nothing in the following paragraph came directly from John Lennon to me.

There is another musician death in the news.  A couple of days ago the lead singer for the Ohio Players died.  The Ohio Players is a proprietary Federation group - - but normally Federation people prefer groups with a tad less melinin in their skin.  I also learned that there has been lobbying groups for literally decades to get the Ohio Players into the ZAC Tarot deck, as number eleven, the Temperance card.  They would be replacing a "Three hit wonder" but this is another substitution which is highly unlikely.  In another "over there" story- - it was confirmed that I spent extensive time on the planet "Real" pronounced "Ray-oll".  This planet is armed to the teeth with defences.  Nobody will mess with them.  I was informed the Federation has been routing for the Houston Rockets against the lakers because this is one Houston franchise that - - is run by what we at the Federation refer to as "The Houston Group".  John Lennon replaced you-know-who who occupied my body prior to mid fall of 1967.  It seems as if John Lennon was looking for a suitable substitute for a fill in for Himself- - since we know "Pink" was starting to have real problems then.  But "after seeing how the other half lives" Lennon thought better- -  and went with Denise De Lovely, whom he took a liking to right off because they both had a certain sense of humor.  But in May of 1969 Denise was "just too busy being a teenager" to want to continue as Lennon so Lennon came to Me again because he wanted to put out  a single and he had words but no Tune and no real musical ideas but he knew he wanted to put out a Single.  So I had something up my sleeve I thought I could adapt for his purposes.

Wild Thing

You know there weapons on the democrat arsenal, and I'm speaking of the US Senate, that they haven't made full use of, at least up to now, such as the 'nuclear option" where the filibuster can have an end run done around it.  We need to continue to hold up the gun lobby and the NRA up to open mockery remind the American public that 92% of us want increased firearms regulation.  They should do perhaps an Amendment 4 A where we have the "Right to feel Secure in our posessions and dependants sending them off to school or sending our wives off shopping at the Mall, and to not be in constant fear she will be gunned down.  As you know the closing words said to Cops each morning after their briefing is "Stay Safe".  Certainly we want to know that when we go off to work that our wives and kids will be safe and that we will see them at the end of the day.  I would however confess just a bit of "legalistic hesitency" about going up against anything with the word "Rights" init.  Because Rights are things that CANNOT be negotiated away.  We have an absolute right to them.  There are certain consumer Rights that cannot be weedled out of us by a shifty and fast talking salesman or credit department.  I think Rights are a good thing-- - and so, by the way, did our Founding Fathers.

Of course in playing the "What the Hell am I talking about' game- - I have enough credencials to almost run unchallenged as President of that Organization, in the same way nobody wants to challenge Hillary Clinton for the democratic nomination for President.  And John Kerry jokingly remarked, "I'm here to find out whether a man can be the Secretary of State any more in this country.  We had MS Rice - - and Madalane Allbright, and then Hillary Clinton, who has been 'President of the World" for the past four years.  Of course we have track five on that mystery "first album" that Burt Lombard played on - - that kind of is very appropiate in this era of gun madness discussion.  Of course once the group changed Labels in America - - they fared a hell of a lot better in their album sales.  Of course they transferred to a record company with the best engineering this side of a Steely Dan album (who are on MCA if you're asking).  They can take a hillbilly hay-seed or a San Francisco group stoned out of their minds on magic mushrooms and God knows what else - - and make them sound pretty darned good.  They say behind every good man is a good woman.  Well in many cases, behind every good rock star is a record company capable of presenting them in their best light and make them "presentable" and making sure that no engineering or recording glitches don't show up on their records.  Then when the group appears Live and sounds like Crap - the record executive can sit back and say "You know- this group would be lost without us".

This is ten o clock and they have not started changing the linens this week.  The cart is not in the halls.  Last week Nora wasn’t here and a fill-in did it.  I just changed the calendar officially to February.  They said that Ash Wednesday was 47 days before Easter.  Usually Ash Wednesday is somewhere near a new moon and it turns out to fall on February 13^th, which is forty days prior to Palm’s Sunday and not Easter, and so far as I know it has always been this way.  I in fact at one point was confused why Catholics were not allowed to officially break their fast on Palms Sunday, to commemorate Jesus coming in Triumph (supposedly) into Jerusalem.  But now they are saying was “recently extended a week”, which I cannot find support for, because “people need a day off now and then”.  It doesn’t work that way.  Satan doesn’t “take days off”, if you know what I mean.  The other big news is that some states have laws against women parachuting on Sundays.  Others have laws that dictate that women can only wear blue jeans or pants “when riding either a bicycle or a horse”.  And this Mexican lady on KTLK used to be a probation officer.  (judging from some stuff she’s said I think if I were a male prisoner I’d ask for someone else to be assigned to my case)  Anyhow she takes exception to Grandpa coming over and giving his sixteen year old grandson money for condoms when he’d never give his daughter money for birth control pills.  And like Laura’s son - - this freak is such a Mama’s boy that he’s one of those who tells his mother “Everything”.  And Catholic schools have laws- - regulations that stipulate that females have to sign a “no cursing pledge” but they don’t require the same from the males.  These are probably following the Mark Bove doctrine that women are to be “submissive vessles” and that men will look upon these women and learn and reform their ways “by example”.  The whole bit about “a good example’ would work with someone like me, but people with Aspurger’s sydrone never pick up on key social cues or conformity to a norm.

Today has been overcast.  I got up at the usual ten or so minutes to six.  The carpet was dry, which is good.  The short shower curtain still ought to be replaced.  I had Stephanie Miller on and made coffee, opening up the second of the three cans I purchased.  We had Raison Bran for breakfast followed in time by hashed browns with catsup,  scrambled eggs with stuff in them, and also toast with butter and jelly.  Loretta says we are having beans and franks for lunch.  Of course I did not type in Word yesterday.  But there was an awful lot of typing going on.  The second and third posting comprises the last file in varied shades of green.  Six pages.  I made a few refinements on posting number three directly in Edit.  There is that whole ‘You had help” argument, and no way could I have organized and done all that stuff just by “resolving” at the start of the day I was going to do three mentally challenging postings this day.   I wanted a back up besides the cloud for postings two and three – just to make sure I had it.  Today I’m wearing all dark blue- - and I waited to put on this shirt to coordinate with the jeans.

Sunday night it was the MVP and other awards- - amidst the confetti in the stadium.  I was right to call it the “rattiest stadium in the league” because even last fall there were voiced concerns about the stadium’s electrical system.  There was a little Homer Simpson and a Bob’s Burgers rerun and a Family Guy rerun.  I slept well, but now the covers and the bed pad keep sliding off my bed.  The mattress needs to be turned.  Let the staff do it.  Yesterday it was Stephanie and we had oatmeal for breakfast.  I told John (if he was paying attention) that maybe they scrubbed Cheerios for the line-up because we receive sufficient anti cholesterol oats from our hot cereal.  I think we had a waffle and a half with our eggs.  The postings obviously consumed a lot of time yesterday.  Sunday evening I wrote in my personal files but didn’t post till the next morning.  We had a grilled ham and cheese sandwich for lunch, and pretty good soup, and potato salad and melon pieces.  I don’t remember about seconds.  I had Randy Rhodes on and watched the soap opera.  Christine is a lot smarter than Clowie when it comes to pulling off scams on men and everybody else.  Nick is one of those “beady eyed” people you don’t trust and he in my opinion is not “dealing with Will’s feelings” sufficiently well, and I think there is going to be trouble down the line.  But I’m not necessarily suggesting he become an asshole about it.  I think a bunch of the involved family members ought to sit down for a pow-wow.

Rege Presley died- - who was the lead singer on “Wild Thing”.  I was just thinking of that group a few days ago – perhaps my I heart Radio station is partial to the Troggs.  They have guardians who were originally from the 51 Star - - but then migrated to Denelus II sometime in the late sixties, but I’m not entirely certain of the time, or whether Wild Thing was already out yet.  Of course some say it’s analogus to “moving out because the “niggers’ are moving in.  Actually there were your basic Chicago blues people (from England) there, plus the migration from Aldeberan IX, which obviously happened AFTER 1966.  It used to be that the “Colors” planet” (I have also identified that star in Orion) was the domain of just Deep Purple and Steve Miller and I think Spirit.  But then those other “colors” moved in.  Of course we told you a while back about the Romulan translation problem I had with Black Bart concerning the designation of “Secret Planet” for Denelus II.  The word is “private” but not secret.  There is nothing at all “mysterious’ about what goes on on that planet.  They just “don’t like crowds” or something.

I hear carts rolling down the aisle.  Coffee was announced.  Anyhow - - I had Randy on a fair amount.  Sarah is here.  We had meat balls over pasta with tomato sauce and broccoli and I said this on the previous file.  We’ll move on.  It was the usual ABC news and Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune.  I’m better at that now – sharper – than I was a few years ago, getting back my old form.  Perhaps it’s due to reduced medication.  Then it was “Bones” and some program after that involving a mystery murder case.  I wasn’t following that closely.  One thing that Cro Magnon man was able to do that Neanderthol Man was not- - is to conceptualize, to think abstractly, and to generalize from the specific to the general.  These are valuable traits man needs for his positive evolution.  We need them now.  I’m not saying there are too many Neanderthols in the tea party.  You can judge for yourself.  There are times I too get frustrated because I don’t think there are enough “clues’ or puzzle pieces – to even have a possibility of completing the puzzle.  With the SUDOKU game, I take less long, all right.  I take less time to realize the whole thing is beyond me.  But sometimes, like the Janis Joplin song, we need to “Try - - Just a little bit Harder”.  We need to stretch those brain muscles and get ourselves out of our comfort zones.

Burt's Notes (Mathworld - Revisited)

The Rev. Harry Green once did a bit of a scriptural rewrite saying, “Woe unto those who nurse anger”.  Rather than refute this I would like to say that even the medical community has to take the Oath that dictates “Do no harm”.  Therefore I say unto you that is a Registered Nurse needs a license to practice, by the same logic, he who would wield a gun need to be registered.

“Well what do you know – I didn’t screw up!”  

This happy ejaculation was uttered by one of the dead friends of mine I’m in contact with (obviously while he was still alive)  He had just gotten through performing track eight of Burt’s first album with a certain Vocalist.  It’s the track about My wishing God would do something that he logically CAN”T – and if I have to invoke the Neil Savedra doctrine (note to reader, understand what this means) do say this- then I will.  Theologians in the late eighteenth century falsely believe (in my humble opinions) that this is something God has already done.  But I too would like to declare, and I think I can, with regard to that treaties on the previous posting, “Well, what do you know- I didn’t screw up!”

It has been written of Old, “Forget the Dead you’ve left behind they will not follow you”.  But I say unto you the Dead can and do wield enormous Power over the Living.  (Selah)

And now I would like to open scripture and quote from the book of “ME” 3:16.  “And I beheld the LORD and he said “Come and I will take you to a high mountain”.  And I was taken to a high mountain.  And the Lord said, “Look and tell me what you see”.  And in order not to offend I did say “What I see is You.  Everything is You”.  The Lord said “Yes, but tell me what Else you see?”  And I looked and beheld God’s - - - Abberrations- - and behold they were more than any man could number”.  And the Lord replied “You have gained great Wisdom, my child”

Behold when I was young I saw no reason why I could not grow up to become one of the first astronauts to go to the Moon.  But as I grew and some say – “grew out of certain ways” and matured, I seemingly “gave up childish ways”.  And my hopes for ever going to the moon were decimated by “the events of this Present world”.  It came to pass that whenever I would mention my dreams- I encountered great discouragement.  In time I learned that the less I made mention of my going to the Moon, the Less discouragement I got.  But there came a time when I was 25 when many rock stars no longer want to be Alive (to get my Ian Hunter plug in) that I joined the Air Force and enrolled in a program and the event seemed to turn my life around.  And I was headed off for my first launch Stewart Sutcliffe approached me and said “I can prove with mathematical formula certitude that this Event of your joining the Military had absolutely Nothing to do with the success you are about to Experience this day.  And I did marvle at his wisdom, trying to understand.

There was a time when Time itself was not straight.  There was time when the very Foundation of the Earth was not a “fate accomplee” as they say, for the Cement was not even Dry.

People need to think in terms of the probability of things NOT happening in order to calculate the most opportune moment when certain things WILL happen, like hitting your lucky number in the roulette wheel.  This algorithm is not difficult- - but a fool will “Let the Deal Go Down” one too many times for their own good.  I tell you – learn from their sad example.

Behold Bones teaches there was a moment when Creation as we know it occurred, and it can be predicted with mathematical certitude.  If you believe in God- - you need to thank Him and Him Alone for Creation to manifest itself from what would otherwise be a sea of nothingness and chaos.  Behold there was an time when Events were able to overpower and bully Time- - but Time like the Cro Magnum man over the Neanderthol, rose up and achieved Supremecy.

Track two of Burt’s first album- - has lyrics I quoted from to Roy Masters.  He no doubt said “I bet you think this song’s about you”.  I said, “No - - it’s YOU who believe this song is about me.  Behold in the darkest days of Tea Party supremecy - - all the desciples of Thom Hartman, Randy Rhodes and Stephanie Miller had to feel like the individual depicted in this song.

Track six, Burt’s first album- - - this is a song about the Antichrist.  Guy Owens and I are both in agreement about this.  They’ve made more than one movie about this latter day “Aesops type Fable, that is too real to ignore.  It’s the glairing red  Stop; sign at the enterence of Chuck Smith’s church which for some strange reason - - only people on the Left can read- - or even See.

Track one of album six of said Vocalist and the fourth one with Burt with this Vocalist - - I believe is about the Rapture, and also the inspiration for Mc Cartney's "Venus and Mars" album.  Some may object saying "The album you speak of was not even OUT till three months AFTER Venus and Mars was released.  To which I say "WATCH THAT DECOY" - - - I feel a double play coming.  The album Before Burt joined the band, this Vocalist's Second- - - check out the B side released by a record company that the Artist had never even Signed with.  It's a track to which we've already made reference.

Track one of album number one with Burt on it - - is "chunky" and with rather dead accoustics, and as Frank Zappa would say "This track is not Standard Blues Changes".  The Vocalist - - once even admitted that Burt wrote this song- - at a Santa Monica concert in March of 1972.

Track Four - - of Album number Four with Burt on it- - is a track that demands "Listen to me".  He looked a lot like Mike Bloomfield in his soul- - and he was gunned down by the Pigs last summer.

If you have ever listened to the Vocalist's FIRST album (not the most available of merchandise in this country - - then I say unto you that You are a True Believer.  Of course which would you rather be, a True Believer or a Believer of the Truth?  This gramatical distinction might be a relivent distinction to make- - - the next time a Used Gospel Salesman approaches you and says "Try Some - Buy Some"

Can We Talk?

Jimmy Lee Dykes, that Viet Nam vetteran who went off the rails last week and killed a bus driver and abducted a six year old autistic child, is now dead.  Apparently among his crimes was to kill an annoying dog with a lead pipe.  He took the kid down into his underground bunker, because he's one of these survivalist types.  Well the FBI grew increasingly concerned about the lad's welfare today and so they swooped in and killed the guy and rescued the kid.  Good work.  That's one less troubling news story that will be darkening our newspaper headlines.  But Randy Rhodes has been illuminating us to other truths today - some of which I was not as clearly aware of as I thought.  For instance the mental illness ban on owning guns, the "no shoot list", like the "no fly list" is slated to be judiciously compiled by actual reports of an individuals violent or suspect behavior and not just including anyone who is receiving Suplemental Security Income or SSI checks, as I am.  Not that I'd trust anyone around here with a gun.  Indeed if guns weren't banned around here I would be strongly suggesting a rule that they are.  Kind of like alcohol.  There are enough problems around here without it.  The kid was rescued at 3:13 in the afternoon, I'm assuming that's Alabama time.  Randi Rhodes also mentions that the NRA's former backing the idea that no felon should own a gun is not entirely autruistic.  Since as you know there are a lot of eighteen year old drug offenders in the slammer, who will have a felon drug conviction on their record for life.  And too high a percentage of these are Black.  It could well be argued that someone arrested forty years ago on a drug charge, might not be the first guy you'd go after as a class of people to exclude firearms posession from.  Of course if you hunted with an AK 47 or other assault rifel, the other hunters might not like you- - you'd scare away the ducks or other prey you were after because chances are you're a bad shot and would be firing off a lot of rounds "just because you can".  A lot of people do things "just because they can".  Elvis Presley once referred to guns as "the great equalizer".  Maybe Elvis should have just learned to fight better, the way he does in the movies.  Guns can embolden people to do things and act more agressively than they otherwise would because they have that Ace in the Hole.  If all else fails they can always whip out a gun and settle the argument right on the spot.  It was owning a gun that made George Zimmerman the confidence or chutzbah or whatever to pursue Trayvon Martin, first in his car and then on foot.  And when Martin, who has every right under the "stand your ground" law of Florida, opts to defend himself he's on the losing end of a one sided gun fight.  Randi says that guns can impact people with road rage encouraging them to be more agressive than they otherwise would.  Of course John Wayne in "The Shootist" advised Ron Howard never to mix guns with alcohol.  That would be the only thing worse.

Of course- - these people as I have been hinting at-   -  -  physically See no Future for America but are hoping some cosmic hand is going to come and not only Save them but also Vindicate them and vindicate all of their Hatred and Prejudice along with it.  Here is a parable - with a geometic rationalle for it, which I will withhold for now.  Try and figure it out.  Once upon a time the US had a rising national debt.  But there came a time when each successive deficet was less than the previous one.  The right still complained.  Then the day came when we had a balanced budget.  The Right still complained of the insurmountable National Debt.  Then the debt came down.  It wasn't coming down fast enoughl the right said.  Then the debt became coming down faster as the federal budget surplusses became larger and larger.  As we approached no Debt at all the right said "We should run surplusses for a rainy day.  But alas there came about another Tea Party debate.  Others, eager to out flank them in the right said "My opponet is wishy washy on this issue.  I maintain that we should ALREADY as of last week, have had a surplus.  Not to be out done another candidate chortled, "Well I say- - we should have had a Surplus and no debt as of five years ago.  And for this Sin, the current administration should be turned out.  "Is any of this registering"?  It's shades of the border security debate - when the immigration is a net Zero.  It seems these people may have given up on the idea of winning any more political campaigns.  Citizens United was like a new disease, a new virus released on the people.  They fell for it once- - but they are becoming imune to it now, thanks in part as I say, to the media's wising up.  So now they just want to sell you stuff.  They want you to buy a plot of land out in the country and build a "safe room" or bunker or whatever- - preferably with holes to shoot guns through.  They will be there with their dried food, and their water purification filter, and their radiation pills in case the worse happens and their 'survival sees" which - - - the rest of us just call "seeds".  It's kind of like your desktop computer or your analog TV.  Someone ten years ago might get confused by the linquistics - - and then they go "Oh- - you mean just an ordenary TV".  Yeah - - kind of like Freedom Fries because we were supposedly down on the French in 1991 for Gulf War I.  Of course Randi Rhodes bluntly tells the truth by saying that Citizen's United - - the Supreme Court Ruling - - in another words is just officially legalizing Bribery, just as Roe vs Wade legalized Abortion - - without benefit of any state legislature acting.  In fact if I'm not wrong- - local governments are actually barred from refusing any and all Corporate contributions or passing prohibitive laws.  These people don't hate big government - - just as long as THEY are running it.  That's what lobbyists are for.  It's strictly Pay to Play.  They don't have to spend hours on the phone any more nickle and diming people, one rich donor just writes out a fat check and they're SET for the next year or so anyhow.

Can We Talk?  Those of you who just read the top blog (as of this writing) in "Psychic Balance" no doubt wonder whether or not I'll turn out to be a four flusher and not back up all the stuff I was alluding to in that long paragraph.  Well, I'd like to explain some of that stuff now.  Let's take the concept of "The God Factor".  Is this an allusion to the fact that if God hadn't willed it- - the Civil Right's act of 1964 would have never gotten passed, or that Osama Bin Laden would never have been caught no matter the extensive interrogation and piecing together of Clues?  No, this is not what I'm saying.  Remember in Witness for the Prosecution where Charles Laughlin is proud of himself for his brilliant defense of his client, and Marlena Dietrich comes on the scene, lacking the good sense to keep her mouth shut (as I would have done).  She said "You think you were brilliant - - but let me tell you, you didn't do it alone.  You had Help".  Yeah's it's THAT kind of "Help".  Are you listening, Larry Elder?  There is another word that may have hung you all up and that was the word AND.  There is nothing mysterious here.  People will take seven dollars even if it's from one five and two ones, or one guy gives them three and the other guy gives them four- - as long as they get seven.  In Algetra this is know as a straight line equation (with a negative slope)  It's pretty basic.  I told you that when people compute price if they used my theory they'd use the perimeter and Area theory to set the most profitable price for their product.  The bottom line here is that the closer to a square you have encompassed- - you maximize the price.  In Romulan there is a word called Verticales, pronounced "Var-tee-cal-les".  It just means either "upright" or "perpendicular" but it also means "On the level" and used a lot in construction.  In sixth grade geometry I was forever mystified that all the coordenates were in ninety degree angles.  In fact- - - assuming 3 D sketch uses the "double trig formula" thing I assume that will work in 3 D because I have an adage "In three D you are always safe with ninety degree angles".  Though I have never Proved this.  So why am I taking so much time on this?  Well, what if the piece of property you are giving the directional "coordenates" to is in Santa Monica, say along Bundy Drive.  Suppose it's a four by two hundred foot stretch along the road of ivey- - with a certain ammount of marijuana mixed in I hope the cops don't suspect.  You see Santa Monica runs at 45 degree angles.  So the trouble with coordenates is they presuppose cardinal directions.  But suppose their is a formula that worked in ANY direction- - no matter HOW you rotated a single directional axis in Sketch?  That would be better.  There IS such a formula, and first semester Analytical geometry students know it.  (look it up)  In fact I have a BASIC program (s) written seven years ago where I "teach this concept to the computer" of keeping the Same measurements to a square or shape and simply turning the shape to any direction. But again - - bottom line is truely the Bottom Line.  It's the Total or Agrigate or Net Earnings or what have you.  Vaya Con El Dinero.  If you've got money in stocks- - it doesn't matter how much money your "Average' stock earns.  The median stock in your portfolio- - may have a figure Farm from the actual ammount of earnings- -  say you own twelve stocks.  If you take your Agragate and divide it by twelve- the figure may be way different. Just remember that Agrigate means "Bottom Line - - How much have I got?  How much did I Make?"

HERE IS SOMETHING ELSE YOU WONDERED ABOUT  I said that "Being White" yourself or "White like Me" was NOT thee most important thing in hiring someone, if you're a biggot.  It's what Whitness represents.  It's the DIFFERENCE between White and Black that counts.  Since this DIFFERENCE is the MOST important thing in a southerner's life- - it matters little whether all the people he would seek to hire are twice as qualified and will work for one third less pay than they would have five years ago.  Some people don't even do things in their Own best interests, studies have shown.    In fact the Asshole from El Paso once overtly told me "God is not a Utilitarian".  Well - duh - - no kidding!  Personally I often darkly suspect God just "Loves a good soap opera".  Granny and Jed Clampett once remarked seeing a medical soap opera "Who would want to watch all that heartache and suffering?"  God would, that's who.  But aside from the Difference between White over Black- - the other thing is- as we said- - Wanting a job should count FOR you not AGAINST you.  These people don't see it that way.  It's their Christian training but if someone is willing to Sacrifice for something you dangle in front of them- - - you think they are "needy" or "desperate' or something and won't hire them.  In fact giving good Reasons why you should be Hired only works against you in these people's minds.  Because the DIFFERENCE between how much YOU want the Job and what THEY already prejudicially think OF you - - is just too great, and the Greater this difference is- - the less likely it is you'll get the job.  Capish?  Like, if I know Italian that might work against me in Dallas or something.

The fun's not over yet- - next Jesus Christ himself goes under the microscope.  I want to make sure I include all the "bits" I planned, and if I forget one, I'll add it in later.  We told you in the last blog how an Event - - can have an ongoing lasting effect on an entity.  And the thing is it may be 'Nobody's Fault (except God's) but that makes no difference.  And you can't really pretend it didn't happen because it did.  This is the Neil Savedra doctrine.  And failure to respond to or remedy the situation will only continue to exaserbate the problem.  It's not the sort of thing you can "pray away".  It's like being next door to a Nuclear reactor- - and over the past few months he radiation readings you've taken have only gotten worse.  And you reason to yourself "If things could just go back to the way they were four months ago when only the tiniest bit of rdiation was leaking- - then I would be Happy".  But alas, life isn't like this.  Getting back to this whole "difference" thing- - it shows up most plainly when Judy responded to my talking about a Book I read by a Pastor who believes in Universal Christian Salvation, and Judy's first response was "What would be the point?"  Just think how abberated her response was.  You mean- - I'm going to be saved from Hell - - and find eternal bliss in Heaven- - but if my next door neighbor Homer is going to- - then Lord I just don't want to do it".  Silly, huh?  Here's an even better example.  I'm an out of work crop picker but I arrive at the jobs place right at sunrise and a guy comes along to pay me minimum wage for twelve hours work- - more than I've been getting.  But then suppose someone who knows the future shows up and says "Oh - - you don't want that job.  What if he hires another after you for more pay?"  First of all I don't KNOW that.  Secondly if I get paid nine dollars an hour for twelve hours of work that $108.00 - which is a pretty piece of change for a person in my socio-economic status.  I'll take it.  But Judy only sees - - Differences.  If you can't say you are BETTER THAN  - - whoever - -  it doesn't matter about your OWN status- - - just as long as the Other Guy doesn't work out better than ME.  Just as I have someone to look DOWN on - - that's where I draw MY status!  You know- - some of you are out there spinning your wheels in brain trying to make sense of what you're reading.  Hopefully - - the wheels may not be Engaged yet - - but at least I've got the wheels spinning the right direction - - along the correct directional plane.  That word Engage is a funny word.  You Engage the ignition - - you Engage the Enemy in Combat- - or you play at an Engagement for a fee to a bunch of adoring fans.  You can Engage in business or a medical practice, or that other M word we won't talk about.  Of course Neil Svedra knows all about engagement.  He's practice at the art of self promotion.  Why - - he's so much like Jesus- if Jesus really returned he'd use Neil as a role model.  I have a question.  If Jesus is so gosh darned smart- - envoking the Dana Doctrine here - - then why did he make a show of healing individual People.  Why didn't he just go to the medical community and tell them about modern health practices and sanitation and introduce them to penecillon and all of the meracle drugs of Today.  No, Jesus would rather stage the Super Bowl of Healings complete with neon lights.  People jumping out of wheel chairs and "pulling the cancer out of my body" and people still as blind as bats - - telling everybody they can now - See.  Lest you think I'm kidding there is a doctrine in our church called "The sacrifice of Praise".  This is- - God's so dumb that if you bullshit him enough and tell Him he's wonderful- - after a while he'll be taken in by it and really Will - do something for you.  You know - - there is a world on the other side of the Ether - - or is it Aether?  I've read it both ways.  Some may ask "Is their universal repulsion over there the way there is universal attraction among matter this side of the Ether veil?"  Remember back on that other blog we talked about Calibration - - or Measurement.  If you measure something in degrees- - then you don't for instance- - calibrate as a Ratio, for instance.  Part of it is just that the Human Brain - - isn't quite capable of conceptualizing that "other world" in geometric terms.  Others say the "rectilinear cortex of our own brains turns Upside Down images Right side Up.  So it's "learned' perception, so we can function.  If Geometry is different over there- - We will find a way of Coping with it- to make sense of what we are Experiancing in unfermiliar environs.  I wanted to talk about the word "Sequestering".  Some may think I mean Juries.  I could be, but not really.  "Sequestering" is a concept well fermiliar to anyone who'se used Paintbrush in Windows.  Sequestering things creates its own Reality.  )Selah) The idea of things that are routinely Sequestered on one side of the veil- - is seen as utterly normal and axiomatic to them- - and the non sequestering on the Other Side seems- - completely strange.  It's like cognatitive dissanence.  Like Dr. Daniel Jonas coming into Clowie's apartment today and seeing the baby all smiley and happy and engaged in play.  Daniel being a doctor has seen enough kids to know cognative dissanence was in opperation here.  A kid who had been bawling his head off for an hour straight- - first of all would be physically exhausted- - and not "engaged" and smiling.  Also he may be flushed- perhaps even feverish- - with puffy eyes and remnents of tears.  It's like me and that Mike guy.  Often I am stunned by something he says and don't respond.  I'm not going deaf.  I heard perfectly well what he said.  But there is this element of cognative dissinence- - what he's saying doesn't square with what's going on.  It's like someone is engaged in some game or contest and does some really "outside the box" move.  We need to be aware of these things when we listen to various people making their Pitch.  You should even apply that standard to Me.
